The building oozed charm with a stone stair case to the upper floor and shutters on the window. The staff was outstanding, they did everything possible to make us feel at home including a take away breakfast when we left early to catch our train. The friendly neighborhood ambiance of the bar/restaurant also was wonderful for an evening glass of wine

This is such a quaint little village with unexpected...
This is such a quaint little village with unexpected treasures. The local church is amazing and we could have spent alot more time seeing it. We walked to the old town and loved every minute seeing the old charm. The best part is that this is not a touristy place so we never felt crowded. We enjoyed wandering around the older parts of town. The cathedral was beautiful and open to view inside. The entire town is walkable, no need to hire a car. There was a variety of places to eat and drink. The location of the train station made it easy to come and go.

Tirano is a very nice town.
Tirano is a very nice town. It is very well connected with other parts of Italy by train. Also, the main attraction is the Bernina Express, which departs hourly from the Swiss Train Station, which is opposite the TrenItalia train station. I would recommend a day in Tirano, to get to know the town.HrothgarMexico
