Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. The place is impeccable and has a great vibe! Everything was perfect, the breakfast was so tasty and the bed was actually more comfortable than the one i have at home (which is a first for me)

The area is popular for fishing and hiking, and car hire is available at the farm stay. If you would like to discover the area, windsurfing, diving and cycling are possible in the surroundings and A Casa Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês can arrange a bicycle rental service. Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Great apartament, helpful host and friendly cats :)

Casas da Levada features free WiFi. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and terrace or patio, for guests' convenience. The property is exquisite, private, with plenty of views. I couldn't recommend this place more.

The apartments and studios are set in renovated family vineyard houses. Each of the self-catering units comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom, garden and a furnished terrace. The heated units have a cosy living area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Quinta das Hortênsias was an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful place to stay. A great base for various hiking excursions, too.

Presenting a rustic style, materials as basalt stone and wood are combined in harmony with a fireplace in the living room. A flat-screen cable TV is included. There is a double room and a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. All the details, so very well taken care off this place. We had a warm welcome, with some nice snacks in the house. The house you are stay at is very spacious, has a lovely balcony in the sun and everywhere you look it is green. We used this location to go for the sunrise at Pico Ruivo, which was a good decision as it is only a 20 minute drive. can also recommend the restaurant Abrigo de pastor for dinner. We made our own breakfast as you have a fully equipped kitchen, everything was there!

Breakfast is included in the rate and the guests are the ones preparing their own meals at their accommodation. We provide the following food for breakfast: farm eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese,ham, butter and homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue area. Super nice host! Takes care of e everything.

The accommodation comes with a TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer, while the kitchen has a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. A fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Beautiful view. Very clean and charming house with lovely swimming pool and kind owner.

Featuring mountain and garden views, this farm stay also has free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water.

Homes at the Comandante’s come with a seating area. There is a full kitchen with an oven and kitchenware. Featuring a bath, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and a bidet. Lake and mountain views may be enjoyed from one of the units. We loved everything about staying Moinho. Carlos and Leonor are the most wonderful hosts and we fell in love immediately with the incredibly beautiful place they made. In the mornings Carlos makes a wonderful breakfast with whatever you prefer, in the evenings you can enjoy a quiet drink in the bar or outside in the gardens or take advantage of the sauna! We can't wait to return there soon!
