This property is great value for money with the bonuses of stunning surroundings, from the moment you open the curtain blinds in the morning until the lowering sun in the evening, you just couldn’t be more at one with nature!

Tony definitely knows what's needed for a restful night's stay and a delightful stopover. And Jeremy's art enhances the décor which is minimal, yet perfectly comfortable. We wish we could have taken it all home! We would definitely stay here again. Warm, caring and welcoming hosts.

Everything possible included (even tea, coffee, marmalade etc)- A secure lockup for my bike was provided which was really helpful. Plenty of hot water, heating and easy parking.

El Polgwedhen Lodge es una casa aislada situada junto al lago, rodeada de jardines extensos, terrenos privados y vida silvestre. This is brilliant. The lodge overlooks a picturesque lake, complete with resident nesting ducks. There is a kitchen / dining / sitting area, along with a generous-sized bedroom (four poster bed) and separate bathroom. Upon our arrival we found scones, jam and cream waiting for us and a lovely welcoming note. We met our hosts the next morning, and we loved hearing about how they had built the lodge themselves. Definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in.
