The Japanese-style rooms at Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen are air-conditioned and come with traditional tatami-mat flooring. Most rooms enjoy beautiful views of the Matsukawa River. The Hostel was super clean. I loved the Onsen you could use, there is a public one as well as private ones. The staff was so helpful and friendly and had some amazing tips on what to see.

The dinner was a wonderful culinary experience with top-quality ingredients. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Perfectly located near Atami, it's an ideal retreat. If I could, I'd give it more than 10 stars. Just perfect!

Ideally located in the Izu Nagaoka Onsen district, this ryokan provides a terrace, as well as a hot tub. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Well - The food was great - mostly fish - which my wife loved. This is traditional Japanese room - so you sleep on the floor. The Staff was nice - but had limited English. They were good at using Google Translate - so there was no issues.

If you would rather not eat out, you can make use of the kitchen facilities. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The owners of the gutesthouse where super friendly, i felt like home there. They helped me with the planning of short trips around the peninsula, gave me a lot of tipps and answered all my questions. If i could, i would have stayed much longer! The village is very calm and peaceful, and with a short trainride you can go to all the other villages and places around the peninsula. I really enjoyed my stay here! Best guesthouse in japan!

The hotel is situated on the sea, with an uninterrupted view, a great experience.From check-in, to the onsen, and Japanese breakfast and dinner, plus afternoon tea, we truly experienced traditional Japanese service and enjoyed it very much. From the pick up at the train station to the final drop off at the train station, the two nights and three days were the highlight of our two week trip to Japan. In particular, the lady who brought the food and beverage service to the room was very touching in her seriousness and professionalism.The receptionist is also warm and friendly, very patient and explain one by one.

This was our 3rd visit since 2018 and remains our favourite ryokan! Love the private open air onsens!

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute bus ride away. The property offers pick-up service from Yugashima Bus Stop. Very nice location. I didn't expect such a nice breakfast. I liked their riverside restaurant, must try. Fall asleep with sound of river was nice too. All their onsen are awesome.
